Seedco (Earlier it was Seedco Agro Industries), the trademark of Markfield Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd, Jalna is founded in the year 1982 and it grown as giant Banyan in the span of about two decades. Seedco is defined as the ‘synonyms of Quality Seeds’ as it has developed the unique vision to conduct the “ Research, Production and Marketing of Genetically Improved and Quality Products.” And based on these thinking and objectives, Organization has earned its own credit and immortal prestige due to sole satisfaction of our customers.

In the present set up of organization, there is well equipped R & D laboratory, well maintained research farms; Quality Control laboratory and processing plant with modern machineries. These all the establishment is centered in Jalna location and R & D department of Markfield Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd. recognized by ‘Govt. of India Ministry of Science & Technology, Dept. of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi.’

Apart from the hybrid and variety development (as mentioned earlier) in the crops, company has earned various credit and achieved its unique goals as :

• Received ‘Bhartiya Udyog Ratan’ Award from Hon. Governor Dr. Bhishmanarayan Singh, Central Planning Minister Rajshekharan and Ex. Election Commissioner Dr. Krishnamurthi at New Delhi dated 01/12/2005 under the sponsorship of Indian Economic Development and Research Association, New Delhi
• Received ‘First Industrial Award’ 2002 from Hon. Minister of Industries, under the sponsorship of MIDC, Govt. of Maharashtra
